The Two Most Beneficial Exercises

The two exercises that I feel have had the most benefit on my life thus far are the Loving Kindness exercise and the Meeting Aesclepius exercise.  The Loving Kindness gave me a great feeling of connectedness and brought a great sense of joy over me.  I really could have used this one earlier today, if only I could have gotten away for just a moment it probably would have made my day much brighter.  The Meeting Aesclepius exercise was one that was very easy for me to envision and I didn't struggle to get through it, as in it didn't seem to be too long.  I really love the way that I feel when I finish with these two exercises.  I am sure that I appear much happier to others as well.  I am going to work at including them in my weekly routine.  I would love to say daily, however until I finish school weekly is much more realistic.

  1. Hi Heather,

It is interesting how everyone has responded to different exercises. What works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another. This just goes to show us that we are all different and unique in our own way and how it is important that when working with others we realize that and are able to personalize treatments for them. We are almost done here, but I also will try to continue with these exercises as well. :-)

  2. Hi Heather, your choices are good, everyone has different things that work for them, I chose "Subtle mind" and "deep breathing", though "living-kindness" was a close third. Your choice of Meeting Aesclepius was one I just could not do, it was ok but just did not do if for me, and your comments about frequency are so true, there are often just too many things on the to-do-list, but they don't really take that long if you think about it.

  3. I am so happy to see that many of us obtained so much knowledge that will help our life's foe ever. You have done a wonderful job on the unit 9 final project, I really enjoyed reading it. It seems like we have all made a lot of progress from our time in this class or at least learned a lot about different aspects of healing. I know that I have made significant progress and I can tell from your project you have as well. I think that those of us who have learned the best lessons realize that this is only the beginning.
